Bakery La Mejor (union city) was opened in 1989 by the late Jesus Martinez. Coming by way of Tijuana in 1973, Jesus has opened over 6 Panaderias in the Bay.

His daughter, Alicia is the current owner and continues with her father’s legacy. We’re a family owned Mexican bakery that prides itself in high quality ingredients and friendly customer service. Tradition of Mexico meets the modern times of the Bay Area.
